Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Dr. Fatima Waziri – Azi, has charged Zonal and State Commanders of the Agency to ensure full implementation of all programmes and policies of the Agency in order to tackle issues of human trafficking in the Country.

This was part of the outcomes of an enlarged meeting of the Director General with the Zonal and State Commanders held at the Agency’s Headquarters, Abuja.



In a statement made available to newsmen by Mr. Adekoye Vincent of the Press and Public Relations Unit, The Exodus News gathered that the much commended engagement was planned to spur the Commanders for greater service delivery in line with the vision of the Director General, Dr. Fatima Waziri – Azi.



The Director General tasked the Commanders on the need to effectively carry out their operational activities in line with her 4 –Points Strategic focus aimed at ensuring a human trafficking and violence free Nation.

The meeting afforded the Commanders the opportunity to brief the Director General on best practices in their areas of jurisdiction, activities and challenges.
